Is Verizon Fioscheaper than your current bill?
Verizon sells two kinds of home internet, and they are priced differently. Fios is fiber, uploading as fast as it downloads; 5G Home is fixed wireless over 5G Ultra Wideband, sold where Fios has not been built. Your address decides which one you are pricing, and the figure to hold against your current bill is the regular rate, not the promo.
Fios 300 Mbps
$49.99/mo
$49.99 per month
with Auto Pay & Paperless Billing
plus taxes, fees & equipment terms · no annual contract
Four 100% fiber tiers, and what each costs once the promo ends
Every Fios tier is symmetrical, so you are paying for upload speed too, which matters if your current plan uploads at a fraction of its download. Read two prices per tier: the promo rate on the card, and the regular rate in the table further down, which is $25 a month higher on every Fios tier.
Fios 300 Mbps
300 Mbps download / 300 Mbps upload
The entry price for Fios, and plenty for a small household that streams and takes video calls.
$49.99/mo
$49.99 per month
with Auto Pay & Paperless Billing
plus taxes, fees & equipment terms · no annual contract
Unlimited data, so no overage charges to budget for
No annual contract required; it runs month to month
Fios availability is determined by Verizon and varies by address. Speeds shown are the tier maximums published by Verizon; actual throughput depends on your equipment, wiring, and in-home network.
Verizon 5G Home Internet® & LTE Home
5G Home: fixed wireless where Fios has not been built
Nothing gets wired into the house for 5G Home, and the table lists a $0 self-setup kit on both plans, so no installation cost eats into the first month. Verizon ships the gateway and you plug it in. At addresses without 5G Ultra Wideband coverage, LTE Home is the fixed wireless alternative over the LTE network.
5G Home
Typical 85–300 Mbps download, varies by address
Entry-level 5G Home, priced mostly by whether a Verizon phone plan sits on the same account.
$50/mo
$50 per month
with Auto Pay & Paperless Billing
plus taxes & fees · from $35/mo with select Verizon mobile plans
Starting at $35.00/mo with an eligible Verizon mobile plan
A self-setup kit is shipped to you, with $0 to set up
Data without overage charges
No annual contract to buy out later
5G Home requires 5G Ultra Wideband coverage at your address; LTE Home is offered in select areas without it. Typical speed ranges are published by Verizon and vary with signal conditions, gateway placement, and network load.
Phone plan + home internet
The mobile discount pays only if your phones move too
With an eligible 5G Unlimited mobile plan on the same account, Verizon takes up to $25 a month off home internet, or up to $300 over a year. That is only a saving if moving your phone lines to Verizon does not cost more than it saves, so price both halves before deciding. The discount is applied by Verizon and confirmed at the time of order.
Fios 1 Gig · Unlimited Plus
Fios Gigabit + Unlimited Plus
Gigabit Fios at home and Unlimited Plus on the phones: 5G Ultra Wideband with 30 GB of premium hotspot on each line.
Bundle savings require an eligible Verizon 5G Unlimited mobile plan on the same account. Discount amounts are set by Verizon, vary by plan and line count, and are confirmed at the time of order.
Verizon Fios TV®
Fios TV: the package rate is not the whole TV bill
Fios TV rides on the fiber that brings in Fios Internet, and it comes in three packages that differ by channel count and by whether regional sports and movie networks are in. Before comparing any of them with your current TV bill, add the set-top box rental and the Regional Sports and Broadcast surcharges, which Verizon bills on top of the package rate.
Your TV
125+ channels
The smallest lineup, built around the channels you pick. If you only watch a handful, start here.
$70/mo
$70 per month
with Auto Pay & Paperless Billing
plus taxes, fees, and Regional Sports & Broadcast surcharges
Fios TV requires an active Fios Internet connection at the same address. Set-top box rental, Regional Sports Network fees, and Broadcast fees are billed by Verizon in addition to the package rate and are disclosed on the order line before you commit.
Verizon Wireless® 5G Unlimited
Verizon Unlimited, priced for your number of lines
The per-line prices on these cards assume four lines on Auto Pay; with fewer lines, each one costs more. Compare what your household would pay at its real line count with what the phones cost now, and we give you that figure on the call.
Unlimited Welcome
Mobile hotspot not included
The entry plan: unlimited talk, text and data on nationwide 5G, without a hotspot.
$25/line/mo
$25 per month
4 lines with Auto Pay & Paperless Billing
plus taxes & fees · per-line rate varies by line count
Each perk adds $10/mo to a myPlan line and can be dropped at any time. Check first whether you already pay for that service somewhere else: a perk only saves money when it replaces a subscription.
Disney Bundle
Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+, as a single perk
Netflix & Max
Netflix and Max together under one perk
100 GB Mobile Hotspot
An extra 100 GB of hotspot on top of your plan
Apple One
Apple Music, TV+, Arcade, and iCloud+ storage
Per-line pricing shown assumes four lines on Auto Pay with paperless billing. Verizon sets all mobile pricing, perk availability, and promotional terms.
Fios Digital Voice®
Fios Digital Voice: a home line for $20 a month
Fios Digital Voice carries calls over your Fios Internet connection and keeps a fixed number at the service address, independent of mobile coverage. Keep it if the household or a small office really uses a landline; if everyone relies on mobiles anyway, it is $20 a month you do not need to spend.
Fios Digital Voice
Unlimited calls and the usual calling features, added on top of Fios Internet.
$20/mo
$20 per month
as an add-on to Fios Internet
plus taxes, fees & regulatory surcharges · no annual contract
Fios Digital Voice requires an active Fios Internet connection. Service depends on power and broadband at the premises; confirm E911 behavior with the agent before you order.
Extras on the bill
Equipment and protection: included, rented or extra
All of this is Verizon hardware or a Verizon-branded protection product. Some items come with certain tiers and some are billed monthly, so the question for your comparison is which ones land on your bill. We tell you, plan by plan.
Hardware
Fios Router / Verizon Internet Gateway
Verizon supplies Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E equipment.
The Fios Router goes with fiber tiers, the Verizon Internet Gateway with 5G Home. Select tiers carry no monthly charge for it; the rest rent it, and that rental belongs in any price comparison. We confirm which applies to your plan.
Hardware
Whole-Home Wi-Fi Extender
Mesh nodes for big or multi-story homes.
They carry Wi-Fi past where the router reaches. Fios 1 Gig and Fios 2 Gig come with the extender rental, while other tiers add it monthly, so count it if your home needs one.
Protection
Verizon Home Device Protect
Breakdown cover for eligible home tech.
It covers eligible home technology on the account if it breaks down, and tech support comes with it. Coverage terms, claim limits, and deductibles are set by Verizon and its underwriter.
Backup
Verizon Cloud
Online backup for your photos, contacts and files.
Sold in storage tiers, it backs up phone and computer content to Verizon's storage. 5G Home Plus includes Verizon Cloud Unlimited, which could replace a storage subscription you pay for now.

*No Annual Contract — all internet tiers listed are month-to-month. Cancelling does not trigger an early termination fee.
*Unlimited Data — no data caps and no overage charges on the internet tiers listed above.
*Router Included with select plans — included on Fios 1 Gig, Fios 2 Gig, 5G Home, and 5G Home Plus. Rented separately on Fios 300 and Fios 500.
*Price Guarantee — offered by Verizon on select plans for the published term. The agent confirms whether your plan carries one before you order.

What the call is for
One call, and the whole Verizon account priced
Switch & Save, an independent authorized retailer of Verizon® services, places new orders for Verizon internet, TV, mobile and home phone. The point of the call is to price the switch against what you pay now, and to say so when it does not pay.
The whole account, priced together
Internet, TV, mobile and home phone priced as one account instead of four quotes, so you can see what a bundle actually saves against the bills you pay now.
Today's Verizon offers, and what follows them
Verizon changes its promotions often, and a saving worked out against last month's offer is not a saving. We quote what is running the day you call, with the regular rate that comes after it.
Your exact address, before any price
Whether Fios or 5G Home reaches you changes from one street to the next, and a cheaper plan you cannot get saves nothing. So the address and its speed tiers are checked on the call, before anything is ordered.
New orders only, and we say so
As an authorized retailer we place new Verizon orders only. If you are already a Verizon customer hoping for a lower bill, the call to make is to Verizon's retention team, not to us, and we will say that instead of selling you a switch.
The process
From your current bill to a new connection in three steps
1
Call with your current bill
Dial (855) 463-2084. Agents available Mon–Fri 9AM–9PM ET. Have your latest bill handy: its all-in monthly total is the number we compare against.
On the call we confirm what your exact address gets, whether that is Fios, 5G Home or LTE Home, and at which speed tiers, then put the price beside your current total.
3
Verizon books the install
Verizon handles the installation: a technician visit for Fios, a plug-in kit mailed to you for 5G Home. Keep your old service running until the new one works.
Agents available Mon–Fri 9AM–9PM ET
Before you switch
What to ask before moving to Verizon
Does Fios or 5G Home reach my address?
A ZIP code is too broad to say; it takes the full address. Fios is built street by street, and 5G Home only works where 5G Ultra Wideband reaches the house. Call (855) 463-2084 and we look the address up in Verizon's serviceability system while you are on the phone, then list the tiers you could order there.
Is this Verizon's website?
No. Switch & Save Inc is an independent authorized retailer of Verizon® services and is not Verizon Communications Inc. We place new Verizon orders on your behalf. Verizon sets all pricing, terms, and service commitments, and your account and billing relationship is with Verizon. Verizon, Fios, 5G Ultra Wideband, and related marks are trademarks of Verizon Trademark Services LLC.
Without the $10/mo Auto Pay discount, what do I pay?
Verizon's advertised rates assume Auto Pay and paperless billing together, which Verizon credits as a $10/mo discount. You keep it by paying from a bank account or eligible card and taking bills by email. Turn Auto Pay off, or let a payment fail, and the discount goes, so if you would rather not use Auto Pay, add $10 a month to the internet rates on this page before you compare.
Is there an install visit, or do I set it up?
That depends on the service. Fios normally needs a technician visit, scheduled with Verizon, to bring the fiber into the home and connect it. 5G Home comes as a kit you set up yourself: find a spot for the gateway, plug it in, and the Verizon app takes you through the rest. Some addresses with the wiring already in place can self-install Fios, and we tell you whether yours is one.
If I switch and it does not work out, is there a fee to leave?
Not on the internet tiers listed here. They run month to month; there is no annual contract, and leaving costs no early termination fee. Some plans also carry a Verizon price guarantee for a published term, which protects your rate without tying you in. Mobile is different: device payment agreements have their own terms, and we explain them before anything is signed. And if your current provider charges you to leave, put that fee into the comparison too.
