How Switch & Save Inc handles information when you use switchtosave.net, run the savings estimator, or call us. There are no accounts on this site, no lead forms and no payments taken here.
1. The savings estimator
The figure you type into the estimator is processed in your browser. It is not transmitted to us, not stored, and not associated with you. Refreshing the page discards it.
2. What else we collect
- ZIP lookups. The five digits you enter go to our availability database to return results. They are not linked to you or stored against an identifier.
- Server logs. Standard access data — IP address, browser, pages, timestamps — kept up to 90 days for security and aggregate analysis.
- Cookie choice. Stored in your browser under
sav-consent. It never leaves your device. - Calls. What you tell us is used to check availability and place an order. Calls may be recorded for quality and compliance, and you are told at the start.
- Advertising. We run Google Ads conversion tracking and no Google Analytics property, so there is no analytics profile of you here. The Ads tag runs under Consent Mode v2: outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it measures ad clicks and calls by default, personalized advertising is used only after you choose “Accept all”, and “Essential only” turns measurement off.
- Remarketing. If you choose “Accept all”, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to show you our ads on other sites based on your visit here. Opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings or optout.aboutads.info.
3. What we use it for
- Returning availability results for a ZIP.
- Placing and confirming an order with the provider you choose.
- Site security and aggregate improvement.
- Advertising measurement, after consent only.
- Legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and do not make automated decisions about you.
5. Payment data
We never ask for or record card numbers, bank details or Social Security numbers. Payment is set up in the provider’s own secure systems.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to know, access, correct or delete what we hold, to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be treated differently for exercising them. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where technically possible. Contact admin@switchtosave.net or (855) 463-2084; we respond within the time the law allows and may verify your identity first.
7. Retention
Server logs up to 90 days. Call recordings and order notes up to 12 months unless a dispute requires longer. Analytics data, where consented, follows Google’s 26-month default.
8. Changes
Updated when practices or the law change. Last updated September 15, 2026.
