About us
We only make money when switching is worth it.
That sentence is the whole business, and it cuts both ways. It is why we will price the alternatives properly, and it is why we will tell you to hang up and call your current provider when the gap is too small to bother with.
Household service bills drift upward, quietly and by design. A promotional rate runs for twelve months, ends without a letter, and the standard rate lands on the next statement. Nothing about the service changed. Nobody agreed to a new price. It is simply what happens when a contract has no expiry reminder attached.
Switch & Save exists to make that gap visible and then to close it if closing it is genuinely worth your morning. We hold retailer agreements with providers, which means we can place orders and sequence a changeover. We are paid by those providers when an order completes. You pay the provider’s published rate, and never a cent to us.
That arrangement is common in this industry and usually buried in a footer. We put it in the second paragraph, because a comparison you cannot audit is worth nothing, and because the only thing that makes a savings site trustworthy is what it says when the answer is do not switch.
How we are paid
The provider pays us. You pay the provider.
That is the whole arrangement, and it is why we will tell you to stay put when the difference is not worth the changeover. An order placed badly is worth nothing to us either.

How we work
Four rules we hold ourselves to
We say when not to switch
Below roughly fifteen dollars a month, the disruption outweighs the saving. We say so, we say it early, and we tell you to ask your current provider for a retention offer instead. That call earns us nothing and it is the right advice more often than you would expect.
We compare all-in figures
Plan price against plan price is how savings get overstated. We work from what actually leaves your account, including equipment, taxes and fees, and we quote the alternative the same way, including the rate after the promotion ends.
We label what we cannot sell
Most comparison sites show every logo they can find. We split providers into the ones we hold agreements with and the ones that merely appear in the federal coverage record for a ZIP, and we never blur the line.
We sequence the changeover
New service ordered, installed and confirmed working. Then the old account canceled and the equipment returned with a receipt kept. Never the other way round. It is the one mistake that turns a saving into a week without internet.

Straight answers
The questions worth asking any site like this
Do you charge for this?
No. There is no fee, no markup and no booking charge. You pay the provider their published rate. We are paid a commission by the provider when an order completes.
Does the commission change what you recommend?
It differs between providers, which is exactly why we publish the fact. Our rule is simple: if the gap between your bill and a realistic alternative is under about fifteen dollars a month, we tell you to stay put and call your provider for a retention offer. That advice earns us nothing, and it is the most common advice we give.
Which providers can you actually sell?
Only the ones on the first list of our providers page. Every other provider we show is there because it appears in the federal coverage record for an address. We label the difference on every page and on every call.
Are you a provider?
No. We are an authorized retailer. We do not own network, we do not set prices, and we do not control installation dates. The provider is the party you contract with.
