Vivint Authorized Retailer

The monthly rate
is not the whole price.

A Vivint system is two costs: the equipment, which most customers finance, and a monitoring rate on a contract. A technician designs and installs it, and Vivint’s own centers monitor it. Set both costs against what you pay now, not just the monthly figure.

Installed by a Vivint technician Equipment from $199.99 Vivint-run monitoring centers
Up to 5 months of free monitoring With a qualifying system purchase. Vivint sets the qualifying conditions and can end the offer at any time.

The two rates

The cheaper plan leaves out burglary alarms

There is no self-monitored option anymore, so every Vivint system is professionally monitored. HomeProtect is the lower rate, but burglary, fire, carbon monoxide and duress alarms are only monitored on Pro, so if those matter, Pro is the rate to compare with your current bill.

Equipment starts at $199.99 and is charged separately from the monitoring rate; most customers finance it. Rates are Vivint's published consumer prices as of September 22, 2026 and are confirmed by Vivint when the order is placed.

What the rate pays for

Where the monthly money goes

Vivint’s own staff

The monitoring centers are run by Vivint rather than an outside contractor, and that is part of what the monthly rate buys.

Checked before dispatch

A person confirms an alarm is genuine before emergency services are sent, which keeps false call-outs down.

A design, not a kit

A technician surveys the doors, glass and blind spots and places each device, so the equipment list fits the house. Weigh that when a cheaper self-install system looks better on the monthly figure.

Backup built in

A cellular connection with battery backup keeps monitoring going if the power or a line is cut, and no landline is needed for it.

Help without a handset

Getting assistance does not rely on anyone reaching a phone, which counts for older relatives and for children on their own.

Put it against your insurance

With some insurers, a monitored system earns a discount on home or renters cover. Ask yours what it is worth and take it off the monitoring cost.

How the quote works

Three steps to a price you can compare

01

Describe the house and your bill

Rooms, doors, own or rent, what you want covered, and what you pay your alarm company now, including any contract left to run. No account or email required.

02

Vivint prices a design

You see the equipment list, the monitoring rate and the contract term as separate figures, so the comparison with your current bill is like for like.

03

You decide, then it is installed

If the numbers work, a Vivint technician installs and tests the system before leaving; there is no self-install route. If they do not work, you have spent nothing.

Get the total first,
then decide

Equipment, monitoring and contract length, set against what you pay now. We are an independent authorized Vivint retailer: if you go ahead, Vivint installs, monitors and bills the system, and if staying with your current company costs less, we will tell you.
