Xfinity Mobile, costed
A wireless service on a nationwide network that only Xfinity Internet customers can buy. Phones use cellular coverage plus Xfinity’s WiFi hotspots, more than twenty million of them, which keeps data use down. The line is managed in the Xfinity app and billed on your Xfinity account, so if you ever drop the internet, the mobile price has to be worked out again.
One new line is free for its first twelve months when you have an eligible Xfinity Internet plan. From month thirteen the regular monthly price of the plan you chose applies, and taxes and fees are not covered by the promotion at any point. Your internet plan and service address decide whether you qualify; we check both.
Mobile Select covers unlimited talk, text and data, and travel use in 215-plus destinations. Mobile Plus adds spam-call protection, device protection, 4K video and a yearly upgrade at a guaranteed discount. Either plan is cheaper in year one for Xfinity Internet members, then moves to its regular rate.
Select already has the essentials: HD streaming, PowerBoost, hotspot data, unlimited US talk and text, and unlimited use abroad in more than 215 destinations. Plus adds 4K Ultra HD video, device protection as standard, spam-call screening, and a guaranteed discount on each yearly upgrade. Pay for Plus if you would otherwise buy device protection or change phones every year; if not, Select is the cheaper line.
In most cases. Xfinity Mobile works with many unlocked, compatible phones, and porting a number from your old carrier happens during activation. We check your phone on the setup call and handle the number transfer. Before you switch, find out whether you still owe installments on your current phone: that balance may come due when you leave, so count it in the cost of switching.
There is no hard cap that cuts service off. Select streams video in HD and Plus in 4K Ultra HD. At congested times, heavy users past a set threshold may be slowed for a while, as on most unlimited plans. Heavy data users should tell us, and we will price the plan that suits the usage.
